Delincuente Tinto, Aragon, Spain

A youthful Garnacha from the Aragon region of Spain, Delincuente is made by the area's leading co-operative of winemakers (Bodegas Borsao), dedicated to creating fantastic wines with reasonable prices. The grapes are picked from vineyards around 30 years old before maceration for 3-4 days and fermentation in steel tanks.

Ruby red with violet hues, this is a vibrant and fruit forward wine with notes of raspberry, strawberry and dried flowers. Remarkably serious on the palate that has noticeable structure, ripe tannins and a smooth, long aftertaste. Try with barbecue, hamburgers, pizza and mature cheeses. 

The wine heritage of Aragon region is very rich in terms of Garnacha, with the oldest vineyards in date from 1145. The area is known for the structure and aromatic complexity of these wines, with crisp fruit flavours, energy and personality.
